Tonight the Call of Duty League action continues. With three matches tonight, we take a look at Saturday’s competition.
London Royal Ravens vs Seattle Surge
With Parasite added to this Ravens roster, they have a lot to prove. Their loss in the Kickoff Classic came mainly because of Zer0’s absence, but the team can’t let that get to them. Against the Seattle Surge, this is a great opportunity to start off the season with a win.
The Seattle Surge took a 3-0 loss to Dallas Empire on the opening day of the season. They were dominated in Hardpoint, only garnering a total of 98 points. This won’t be an easy game for Seattle.
The Ravens have reportedly looked like a solid team in scrims, with Parasite being one of their main factors. With a lot to prove, we think London will dominate here with a 3-1 or 3-0 win.
Pick: London Royal Ravens ML, 1.50 @ Betway & LRR -1.5, 2.10 @ Betway
Minnesota Rokkr vs Dallas Empire
Minnesota’s opening match went exactly as we expected. Win the Search and Destroy, lose the respawns. Well, this could be the story, if not worse, against Dallas Empire. Minnesota will need to improve on their slaying coming into this match.
Dallas Empire dominated in a 3-0 victory against Seattle Surge, and they could do the same here. Minnesota looked poor in respawns, and with Dallas being a great SnD team too, we expect this to be a 3-0.
Pick: Dallas Empire -2.5, 2.55 @ Betway
OpTic Chicago vs Atlanta FaZe
OpTic Chicago continued their form from the Kickoff Classic with yet another 3-0 victory. This one against Paris Legion didn’t come easy, but OpTic clutched up when needed to win the series.
Atlanta FaZe dominated the Los Angeles Guerrillas to a 3-0 win in their first match of the season. Arcitys proved that he was the right man to bring in with an excellent performance, and if he can keep that up, FaZe will be a dangerous team this year.
In his match, we’re favouring OpTic Chicago. They seem to be a level above the rest of the league at the moment, so we’re not only taking a ML bet, but we’re putting another 0.5u on a -1.5 handicap.
