Week 2 of Challengers Elite is here and we finally have odds for the matches. With eight games tonight, we’ll be focusing on four, and backing the underdogs on each. So while these bets are risky, there’s a big possible return and reason for our tips.
Orgless vs RAMS
Orgless have dominated the Challengers Elite so far, winning all four of their matches, only dropping 5 maps. Team 3G, Gangsters, Connect 4 and Team Singularity have all fallen to Orgless, but RAMS are set to be their hardest challenge yet. In the most recent Challengers Cup, RAMS defeated Orgless twice. Firstly they won 3-1 in Winners Semis, before defeating them once again 3-2 in the Grand Finals. Due to this, we’re backing RAMS to win once again, and stop Orgless’ flawless run in Challengers Elite.
Pick: RAMS ML, 2.10 @ Betway
Gangsterz vs Connect 4
Gangsterz and Connect 4 both have a 3-1 record in Challengers Elite, meaning this is an important match. However, both have home up against tough opposition and prevailed, only falling to Orgless. We think this will be a close match, but at 2.40, especially if NYSL HyDra performs, we struggle to not back Gangsterz here.
Pick: Gangsterz ML, 2.40 @ Betway
Obtained vs Team Singularity
Obtained are one of the European Challengers Cup winners of this season. While they have undergone a roster change, they have continued to play at the highest level. In the most recent Challengers Cup, they defeated Team Singularity 3-2, clutching up in the Search. Singularity’s only win in Challengers Elite comes 3-2 to House Tarth, where HT couldn’t seem to get their SnD game going. Therefore, we’re backing Obtained to win this match.
Pick: Obtained ML, 2.20 @ Betway
House Tarth vs Orgless
House Tarth have been one of the best performers in the Challengers division this year. While they have struggled with their Search and Destroy recently, we’re looking at them to bounce back and return to form. While Orgless are 4-0, their recent Challengers Cup loss will have knocked some form off of them, and House Tarth will be looking to exploit that through the SMG duo of Afro and Gismo.
